How to clean and maintain my Philips HomeRun 5000 Series Vacuum and Mop Robot?

To maintain your 5000 series robot:

  • Clean the rotary mop pads and water tank in the robot.

Note: Do not clean the rotary mop pads and water tank with any cleaning detergent. Use tap water only. 

  • Clean the washable filter and dust bin.

Optional: Add 1 ml of Philips floor cleaner XV1493 in the clean water tank of the robot.  

Note: Only use the supplied Philips floor cleaner XV1493, which is specially developed for our devices to ensure optimal performance and to extend its lifetime.  

Note: Using alternative cleaning detergents may compromise and potentially damage the machine's interior components. 

  • Clean the main brush 
  • Clean the side brush 
  • Clean the main wheels and the front caster wheel 
  • Clean the sensors, contact points and IR signal window 
    Note: Do not use cleaning detergents.  
    Do not use other ways to clean the components. 
  • Replace the dust bag.  
    Note: When the orange LED in the station flashes, it indicates that the dust bag is full, not placed, or not correctly placed.
