There is a constant or flashing light on my Philips Air Purifier

Published on 02 July 2025

If there is a constant or flashing light on your Philips Air Purifier, 2in1 Air Purifier and Humidifier or 2in1 Air Purifier and Dehumidifier, read below to find out the possible causes.

When the filter needs to be replaced or cleaned, a light indication, icon or code will light up constantly or flash on your Philips Air Purifier. Once the filter is cleaned or replaced, please reset the filter lifetime counter (as indicated in the user manual). The light indication, icon or code will go off.
If an error indication (E1, E2, E3, E4 or E6) is displaying, this indicates there is a malfunction in your Philips Air Purifier. In this case, we advise you to contact Philips After-Sale Service.

Note: Error indication, filter cleaning and replacement alerts, codes and icons are different in each model, please refer to the User Manual specific for your model.

When the water tank is full, your Philips 2in1 Air Purifier and Dehumidifier's  indicator light will turn on to alert you. Please take out the water tank and empty it, then properly place the water tank back. The indicator will go off.

Your Philips 2in1 Air Purifier and Dehumidifier is equipped with defrosting sensor to ensure it works in optimal condition when the weather is cold. The appliance automatically activates defrosting when it is required, and the auto defrosting indicator will turn on. The indicator will go off after the defrosting is complete.

Note: Error indication, filter cleaning and replacement alerts, codes and icons are different in each model, please refer to the User Manual specific for your model.
